  1. Why is it called the chocolate nation?
    We think that many of the best chocolatiers are right here in the United States, using the freshest local ingredients, creating new flavors, researching their beans and taking chocolate to the next level. We believe the U.S. is…the chocolate nation!
  2. Does the chocolate nation make the chocolate?
    The chocolate is not produced by the chocolate nation. We work with the finest domestic chocolatiers who make and ship the chocolate directly to you, ensuring optimal freshness.
  3. Does the chocolate nation ship internationally?
    We do not ship internationally at this time.
  4. May I ship to more than one address in an order?
    Yes, you may ship to more than one recipient. When you are filling out your order you will be asked for the shipping address; at that time you can match the chocolate to the recipients.
  5. What is the estimated delivery time?
    Because we work with artisan chocolate makers, delivery time may vary based on preparation time of the chocolate ordered, as well as type of delivery - Ground versus Air. We rely on our chocolatiers to determine the best method of shipping their chocolates.
  6. How can I track my order?
    We will notify you via email when your order has been shipped. You will also be able to track your order on our tracking order page; simply enter your order number and it will bring you to the UPS page to check on shipping progress.
  7. Are deliveries made on the weekends?
    Deliveries are made Monday through Friday. Due to the perishability of chocolate, we do not ship over the weekends or for Monday deliver
  8. Does the chocolate nation offer gift certificates?
    We do not offer gift certificates at this time, however we hope to in the near future.
  9. Does the chocolate nation do special orders?
    Yes! We love to do special orders at the chocolate nation. You can call or email our chocolate concierge who will work with you and our amazing partners to find the right fit for your needs.
  10. What if I have a nut allergy?
    Many of our chocolatiers use nuts in some of their chocolates; therefore there may be traces of nuts in all of their chocolates.
  11. How should I store my chocolates?
    Well, we are impressed that you are storing them and not indulging all at once! Shelf life depends on what you order. We recommend that many of the chocolates be eaten within 1-2 weeks upon receipt. Chocolates should be stored in a cool, dry place, preferably an airtight container. We do not recommend refrigeration.
